Seasonal or featured recipe that I think you'll like.
One of my favorite things about on Christmas is waking up to a yummy breakfast on Christmas morning. Since I'm the one that's in the kitchen preparing breakfast, I'm always on the hunt for simple and tasty recipes that can be prepared ahead of time. Most times I make a savory and a sweet dish so I can please everyone. Click here to view 30 recipes perfect for Christmas morning.

Cookbooks and Books that I think you'll love!
Mama Dip's Family Cookbook  is filled with more than three hundred dishes, including many Council family favorites. Also featured are party and celebration foods for family and community gatherings--a reflection of Mildred's belief that friends and family are essential to a rewarding life. The recipes in this cookbook are primarily classic recipes from the 70's and beyond. Nothing fancy just good old comfort food just like grandma used to make.  I have both of Mama Dip's cookbooks and I treasure both of them.

Take a look back at the latest post's on the blog.
Check out my newest recipe on the blog and learn how to make this yummy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread with Cinnamon-Vanilla Glaze Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread is a soft - gooey, pull apart bread packed full of pumpkin, spices, chocolate chips and topped with a cinnamon - vanilla glaze. The pumpkin and chocolate chips compliment each other deliciously in this recipe!

Be on the lookout for this recipe for my Ma Maws Homemade Pear Preserves that I'm hoping to get posted sometime in the next week or so. I hope everyone has a fabulous week and very Merry Christmas.
