My Texas Table - Back to School Ideas

Happy Monday friends!!!

Today was my youngest son's first day back-to-school. It's a bittersweet moment in our house having two kids that have graduated and one left in high school. I knew this day would come, but I can honestly say it sure did fly by. Last week was also my first week back to school & work (child nutrition), so there's been a lot of adjustments in our daily routine.

Since everyone is either back-to-school or soon to be heading back, I thought my August newsletter should be about all things Back-to-School As your kids head back to another school year your schedules will go back to being a bit more hectic, so in today's newsletter, I will be sharing Lunch Box Ideas, Quick & Easy Breakfast Options and Simple Dinner Meals helping you ease back into your dinner routine. I hope y'all find something you like.

How about the huge pro pot ad! Sorry, I find pot one of the most destructive things for the youth, Mommy. Your poor kids. FROM susangster@gmail.com Susan is not anonymous...so sad ...I liked you recipes.

An unacceptable ad sneaks through my ad rotation every once in a awhile. I use an ad company and I will contact them. Just because an ad comes through does not mean that I am pro pot or that myself or my kids do pot as your comment stated (your poor kids). I will have my ad provider view my ad set up and have it removed.

Dear Mommy: I take it back. I was just so shocked, because your blog is so wholesome and normal. I hope your kids do well and I wouldn't want them to feel disrespected. Please don't unsubscribe me. I do apologize. Sincerely, Susan Mary

Ad's are sometimes out of my control on what sneaks by,but believe me when I do see something offensive or not acceptable, I have them removed as quickly as possible. I don't want that type of advertisement on my site. I'm not for any of that and I especially don't want my readers to think I condone it. Thank you for your apology :) and just to let you know the ad your are referring to is a large video preview ad and it's is for Kale. I hope you will still stop by for future recipes.
