October Menu ~ Menu Plan Monthly

Happy October everyone! Where has time gone? It seems like September just flew right by. I am so excited that fall has arrived. Texas has been having some unseasonably mild temperatures the last couple weeks, and I am loving it. The weather man said the first couple of weeks of October will be the same, yeah for once it actually feels a bit like Fall.

I can't wait to start cooking up some soup, stews and chilli's as the weather gets colder. This is my favorite time of year, Halloween, Pumpkins, Apples and Fall Baking, I can't wait! This is also the time of year that I try and get started on all my canning and baking for holiday gift giving. There is nothing better than giving and receiving gifts from the kitchen. OK enough rambling and back to the menu. I have a few repeats this month as well as the menu being a bit shorter than usual. I will be out of town for a couple days, so everyone will be on their own.

My daughter was sick pretty much the whole month of September with intestinal problems and was put on a soft diet. Besides all of us being dog tired, we pretty much just ate whatever we wanted, so the dinner menu sort of went out the window. I am really hoping to get back on track this month. So if you see a few familiar meals that's why. If your a monthly menu planner then you know what to do. Link up your October Menu Plan at the end of this post. I can't wait to see what everyone has planned for dinner.
