Crock Pot Party Meatballs

These 4 ingredient sweet and savory meatballs are always a party favorite and perfect for holidays, game day get togethers and a hungry crowd.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Now that Christmas is behind us, it's time to start thinking about the new year. Today I want to share a quick and easy appetizer perfect for your New Years Ever get together. Whether you're hosting a party or going to one these Crock Pot Party Meatballs are a must.

Anytime I take these meatballs to a get together everyone loves them and they're always one of the first appetizers to be finished off. Store bought frozen meatballs, covered with a chili sauce, raspberry jam, and barbecue sauce are all you need to make these easy meatballs.

I love foods that I can serve straight out of my crock pot. These sweet and savory meatballs can be made ahead of time and transported to any party right in your crock pot. When you arrive just plug your crock pot, set it to warm and enjoy.

If you don't like traveling with a full crock pot, you can also thaw the meatballs, mix the sauce together and add everything to a large Ziplock bag and transport them that way. When you get to your destination just pour the whole bag of meatballs and sauce into the crock pot, set it on high and cook until heated through.

Once you make these meatballs, I guarantee you will love them just as much as my family does.

Crock Pot Party Meatballs

These 4 ingredient sweet and savory meatballs are always a party favorite and perfect for holidays, game day get togethers and a hungry crowd.
Prep time: 10 MinCook time: 3 HourTotal time: 3 H & 10 M

Ingredients

  • 32 ounce package Frozen Homestyle Meatballs (I prefer the Cooked Perfect Brand)
  • 1- 12 ounce bottle Heinz Chili Sauce or generic (Aldi has a good brand)
  • 1 -10 - 12 ounce jar raspberry or blackberry seedless jelly, grape jelly or use  Smucker's Fruit Spread
  • 1 -18 ounce bottle (honey) barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker with non stick spray.
  2. Place the frozen meatballs in the bottom of your crock pot.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the chili sauce, jelly and barbecue sauce.
  4. Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
  5. Set your crock pot to low and cook for 3 hours.
  6. Turn your crock pot to warm and serve straight out of the crock pot or serve with toothpicks.

Notes:

These meatballs are wonderful stored in the freezer. Just add the meatballs and the sauce ingredients to a large gallon size Ziplock bag. Mix to combine and freez until ready to use. Just thaw and toss them into the crock pot.
