Nutella Marshmallow Crescent Rolls

Ooey Gooey crescent shaped rolls made from frozen roll dough and filled with Nutella Hazelnut Spread and mini marshmallows.

If you're looking for a quick and easy dessert that everyone will love, look no further. These yummy Nutella Marshmallow Crescent Rolls are sure to please. Each yeast roll is stuffed with Nutella Hazelnut Spread and filled with mini marshmallows.

Crescent rolls are nothing short of amazing by themselves, but stuff them with ooey gooey chocolate and marshmallows and you have a match made in heaven. I've seen several recipes for Nutella rolls that use store bought crescent roll dough, but I prefer more of a soft dinner style crescent roll.

You only need a few ingredients to make these easy chocolaty rolls. Rhodes white dinner rolls, Nutella hazelnut spread, and mini marshmallows. If you don't like hazelnuts or you're allergic (like my sister) feel free to use a plain chocolate spread or chocolate chips. You can top these chocolaty rolls with additional drizzled Nutella or a dusting  of powder sugar.

If you would like to bake up this delicious treat, stop by the Rhodes Out of the Oven Blog where I'm guest posting today, and sharing the full recipe and instructions on how to make these simple Nutella Marshmallow Crescent Rolls.

Ooey Gooey Nutella Marshmallow Crescent Rolls

Ooey Gooey crescent shaped rolls made from frozen roll dough and filled with Nutella Hazelnut Spread and mini marshmallows.
Prep time: 45 MinCook time: 20 MinTotal time: 1 H & 5 M

Ingredients

  • 15 Frozen Dinner Rolls (such as Rhodes), thawed but still cold
  • 2/3 cup Nutella Hazelnut Spread, divided
  • 60 mini marshmallows
  • 1 egg (plus one tablespoon of water)

Instructions

  1. Thaw out 15 dinner rolls for about 1 hour until soft, but still cold.
  2. Spray the counter with non stick baking spray.
  3. Combine the thawed rolls together to form a dough ball. Roll the dough into a 15 inch circle.
  4. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 8-10 equal triangles. Spread about 1 teaspoon or more of Nutella hazelnut spread onto each triangle. Add 4 marshmallows on top of each crescent.
  5. Roll each piece, starting at the widest end into a crescent shape. Place the rolls onto a baking sheet that has been sprayed with baking spray.
  6. In a separate bowl whisk together the egg and one tablespoon of water. Brush the egg wash on the points of each crescent rolls so the dough seals together.
  7. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown on top and bottom.
  8. Add the remaining Nutella spread to a small bowl and melt for just bit in the microwave to a drizzle consistency. Spoon the Nutella mixture into a small ziplock bag with the tip cut off.
  9. Drizzle the melted Nutella over each crescent roll before serving or dust with powdered sugar. Serve immediately or store in an air tight container.
