March Menu {Menu Plan Monthly}

For my March Dinner Menu I will be doing a pantry and freezer challenge. Our house is under contract so we will be moving next month. I am so excited that our new house is a larger one level home with a bigger kitchen. I can't wait to organize my kitchen and get everything back in order. I know I have a hard job ahead of me, but it will be so worth it when I'm done. This will be quite a move since this has been home for us for the last 12 years.

We don't want to be stuck moving a whole bunch of food, so we really need to eat our way down a bit. I thought from now until we move (end of March) that I will do a Pantry and Freezer Challenge. Anything dinner wise will be made from what I have on hand in my pantry and what's left in the freezer. We stock pile a lot of food so no worries we have plenty to eat around here. I am hoping to only go to the store to buy toiletries, fresh produce and dairy products until we move.

If I can get the freezer and pantry cleaned out then we should be good to go by the time moving day comes. I am actually looking forward to this little challenge because it's amazing at what you can come up with if you just set your mind to it. Once most of the food is gone it will be take out and sandwiches the actual week of the move. I will be glad when it is all over and we are back into a routine. Until then these are the meals I came up with using just the items I have on hand.

I am so impressed you are this organized. I don't think I could plan a whole month. I take it week by week.

Do you actually plan out each day?

How exciting for your new house and to have a bigger kitchen. Good luck with your move. I totally need to do this challenge this month as my freezer needs to be cleaned out!

I only do my monthly menu for dinner meals. That always seems to be the meal of the day I was most challenged with. We always have breakfast and lunch items on hand. I do a list order for my dinner menu. That way I can pick and choose a meal instead of a designated meal on a specific day.
Hi Tina,
Thanks for reminding me about the link up..and for offering it! I'm so happy to hear about your new house. Good luck with your packing and planning! That is one big job. I'm so thrilled for you to have a bigger kitchen. That will be so nice for your whole family. Have a good day Tina!
