May Menu ~ My Little Guy Turns Seven.

Good Morning everyone. It is a beautiful day in North Texas!!! May has arrived and there are only 4 1/2 weeks of school left. I am really starting to get a little bit excited about summer and so are the kids. Now that the weather is changing we can start to cook outside a lot more instead of cooking inside. Plus I have some crock pot meals listed as well. Today is Menu Plan Monthly so I am posting my May Dinner Menu. I have a few meals that I carried over from last month so if you see a few repeats that's why. We kind of got off track when my husband had surgery, so we just ate what we wanted. I really don't like getting off track with dinner that is one habit I don't want to get into. But it is a new month so there is plenty of time to get back into our dinner routine.

I also wanted to say that today is my little guy Carson's 7Th Birthtday! I cant believe he is 7 already. It seems like just yesterday I brought that sweet little baby home from the hospital. Time sure does fly by before you know you have big boy on your hands. He is so excited about today we are having a small Sponge Bob party and Carson and going to the Car Races tonight. Carson has been counting down the days. I wish I could of made him a sponge bob cake, but a cake decorator I am not. I did find the neatest cupcake cake in a sponge bob theme so I know he will love it.

I have included McKLinky at the end of this post. If you plan a monthly menu, then I would love for you to link up. I would like to say thank you to everyone who links up every month for Menu Plan Monthly. I love hopping around to all of your blogs and reading your menu's. I get so many new recipes that way, so thank you again. If you do not link up be sure to come back and check out all the bloggers who do link up their menu's. It really does help if you are looking for some new meal ideas.

Happy 7th to Carson (what a neat name) I remember all the special Birthdays with my gang of 9 and I did do some cake decorating and it was fun.
I love your blog and it will now be one of my daily (or nightly) things to do each day (to visit your blog)
When my kids still all lived at home I used to do the same thing with a monthly menu and also shopped by the month..now that we are retired we just wing it and eat whatever we want.
I have been looking for a big pot so I can can some of your applebutter and apple pie filling.
Your blog is now part of my daily routine :)
Best wishes to the birthday boy! You've got some goodies planned again - I'll be back :) Our menu is built around what we had in the pantry. We are thinking alike with breakfast for supper and tater tot casserole. Thanks again for sharing more great recipes.

I used to be so good at menu planning on a monthly basis... this is inspiring me to try and get back to it!

Yay for Spongebob parties. If I didn't give away all my SB birthday supplies and things I made from our SB party last year I would have sent it to you.

Happy 7th bday to your little guy. Mine turns 7 in September. Such a fun age isn't it?!!!
Happy Birthday to Carson!

Sophia turns 7 this weekend (May 15)...seems like yesterday she was just a baby.

Time with the kiddies goes too fast...

Anyway, Happy Day Carson
