Hey, hey, hey it's another day, and time for a new monthly menu plan! I am thrilled that cooler weather is finally arriving in North Texas with temperatures expected to drop into the 80's this week with a few cool-crisp mornings ahead. Plus we're expecting some much-needed rainin the next few days thanks to Hurricane Polo, which is a welcomed change.
With fall on the horizon, I think it's finally time to make the exciting shift from those lighter spring and summer dishes to cozy fall and winter soups and comfort foods. This months menu features 31 family family-friendly recipes and desserts perfect for welcoming the Fall season. Hopefully there is something for everyone to enjoy! 🍂
- The menu pictured above is just a preview for you to pin if you'd like. You can find the full printable PDF version 🠞 HERE
- I've arranged my menu plan in a list format, which allows me the flexibility to choose what to cook each day rather than assigning specific meals to certain days. This approach also makes it simple to mark off meals as I prepare them.
- All recipes have clickable links (on the PDF version) that are listed on Mommy's Kitchen or recipes that are available online.
- The majority of the dinners featured on my menu don't include a specific side dish, and here's why: many of them are complete or all-in-on meals, or I prefer to pick out my vegetable or side dish once I'm actually cooking. Also given that the menu plan has pretty tight spaces, I've done my best to fit in as much detail as possible!
- Any recipe marked with an asterisk (*) indicates that it was a meal that has been carried over from the previous month that was not prepared.
