Cheesy Bacon Ranch Bubble Bread

This crowd pleasing Cheesy bubble bread is seasoned with ranch dressing, two types of cheese, and topped with crispy bacon pieces.
Well it's that time again........ Football Season! In my house it's all about Football for my guys, but for me it's all about the eats. I don't know why, but I have never really been much of a football fan. Even though I don't get involved in the actual game I do love all the food and fun that surrounds it.

When it comes to football food I always try to keep it simple. I usually lean more towards simple dips and finger foods that transport easily. Let's face it folks they won't be eating in the dining room, so finger foods, dips and easy to carry items are a must.

This Cheesy, Bacon, Ranch Bubble Bread starts with Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls  and the addition of crisp cooked bacon, a variety of cheeses, and a packet of ranch dressing mix. This bread is cheesy, addicting and crazy good! This bread  is definitely the perfect finger food.

I know the Super Bowl is coming up, so this would be a great addition to your Super Bowl party. Head over to the Rhodes Blog  where I'm guest posting, and sharing the full recipe, as well as step by step photos on how to make this cheesy bacon bread.

Prep time: 30 MinCook time: 25 MinInactive time: 1 HourTotal time: 1 H & 55 M

Ingredients

  • 15 – 18 Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
  • 10 – slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 – 1 ounce packet ranch dressing mix (dry)
  • ½ – cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ – cup five Italian cheese blend
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Lay out 15 – 18 frozen Rhodes dinner rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Thaw until the rolls are soft, but still cold.
  2. While the rolls are thawing, cut the bacon into bite size pieces and cook in large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the bacon for 7 - 10 minutes or until the bacon is cooked, but not crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Cut the thawed rolls into fours and set aside. Grease a 5 x 13 inch loaf pan with olive oil (you can also use a Bundt pan or tube pan).
  5. Layer half of the rolls on the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle half of the ranch dressing over the rolls; add half the cheese and half of the bacon. Repeat second layer with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Spray a piece of plastic wrap with non stick spray and lightly cover the top of the pan. Place pan in a warm place and let rise for one hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove plastic wrap and bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown on top and the bacon pieces are crisp.
