My Texas Table - 20 Of My Favorite Halloween Sweets & Treats

Happy Sunday  friends!!!

I hope you're having a great weekend?  Today is a beautiful-sunny 65 degrees here in North Texas, so Fall is definitely in the air. We had non-stop rain for the last week, so I'm glad it's finally come to an end. Today I took full advantage of  our wonderful weather, I opened all of the windows to enjoy the breeze, laundered all of our bedding, hung it on the clothes line to dry, caught up on my Little House series, worked on the computer and was even able to can a batch of vanilla - peach jam, so all in all it's been a very productive day.

Halloween is just around the corner, so it's time to start thinking about all things, spooky, yummy, and fun. This is my favorite time of year and I love whipping up festive Halloween treats. If you're looking for a few simple sweets and treats, I got you covered with 20+ of my favorite Halloween recipes, perfect for parties, get-togethers or for a Kid-friendly Halloween meal. I hope you find something you like in this months issue of My Texas Table.

Them temps are slowly starting to dip down here in Texas, so that means it's soup season!!!!! Today I'm sharing Pork Caldo which is one of my favorite soups. Pork Caldo is a Mexican inspired vegetable soup with a seasoned broth and tender pieces of pork carnitas. What I love most about Authentic Mexican soups is that they're made with simple, fresh ingredients and are always bursting with flavor. A few of my favorites are, Beef or Pork Caldo, Pork Pozole, Albondigas (Mexican meatball soup), Tortilla soup and even Menudo.  Click here to get the full recipe.
