Classic French Onion Dip

French Onion Dip is a classic dip that shows up at just about any party, get togethers or game day gathering. This shortcut recipe is super simple to make and taste so much better than the store bought stuff.
This easy French onion dip, comes together in minutes and is made with only 3 ingredients, sour cream, onion soup mix and French fried onions. Yep, crispy French Fried Onions... you know the ones that you buy during the holidays as a topping for green bean casserole. They're crispy, crunchy, oniony and perfect for this dip.

I like to mix half of the French fried onions into the dip and add the remainder as a topping just before serving. You can't go wrong with this classic dip it's cool, creamy and perfect for parties, get-togethers or on game day, really anytime you want a simple dip to serve with chips, veggies or crackers. I love this dip with potato chips, but carrot sticks, celery sticks and pretzel chips are definitely my dipper of choice.

Making this French onion dip is so easy and comes together in minutes. Just add all the ingredients (make sure to save half of the french fried onions) together, stir well and chill.

Just before serving top with additional French fried onions. Make sure to save some extra onions because they will go fast. for me the French Fried Onions really make this dip.

Serve with chips, crackers or veggies such as carrot sticks, celery sticks or bell peppers.

If you're looking for a quick and easy dip that everyone will love, this easy French onion dip is the one!!
