She uses orange jello so that is what I used but next time I am going to try the pineapple jello. We also had to skip the marshmallows because the dog ate them. lol Thank you for the recipe. It is chilling now but the taste test got a thumbs up. The canned cream is probably the reason you needed more liquid. I have never used that before as it isn't real cream and will change the whole recipe and not turn out as like it should. Hopefully you can try the recipe again as directed. We serve the pineapple version with ham on the holidays or take to summer cookouts. I made it with a different brand of pineapple gelatin, which had more in it and was quite sweet so I did not add any extra sugar, plus I used about a cup more liquid than called for in your recipe, and I used the kind of whipped cream that you squirt from a can, and it was still very very good. Bottom line to readers is, you cannot go wrong here, use the recipe as a guideline and you won't go wrong. I will definitely be making this again, and look forward to experimenting with other flavors. Also, I appreciate the suggestions on what to serve the various flavor options with.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12380565471130767897noreply@blogger.com
