Delicious! I often try to make over recipes like this so they're a little easier for our toddler, who is oh-so-sensitive to sugar. As in she has a meltdown without about one minute of eating a lot! Anyway, I'm going to try these. Thanks so much and if you're keen on a newly made-over recipe from Paula Dean, I just made a batch of mini pumpkin spice muffins...Totally kid approved. I made 2 batches of the pecan pie bars and although they are very good, I was a little disappointed that the middle of the bars were not like pecan pie. I did everything exactly like the recipe called for and baked them for 45 min. and can't understand what I did wrong. They are definitely very good though. Just would liked for the middle to have been a bit soft like a pecan pie.
