Cant wait to try these. I make a similar version, but right before they are ready to serve, I open them up, throw a little shredded chedder cheese on them and close it back up so it can melt (but without the cream). But I love cooking with heavy whipping cream it makes everything so much better, so I am looking forward to making these.

Oh my gosh, you are going to meet the pioneer woman!! I'm SO jealous- I've made a ton of her things and they are always so good.. The apple dumplings are to die for (but you may have a heart attack after eating them) and the cauliflower soup is a staple in our house!

I dont have the cookbook yet. Usually at the book signings you will need to purchase the book from the book store. I saw it at Walmart and just camped out in the isle looking at it. My dd told me cmon mom your gonna see her soon and you can read the book then. Kids they just dont get it sometimes. My dd said is that the lady that has the punks? are they coming? I told I am not sure they were at one of the signings so maybe we will see.

Looks so good! Have you gotten a copy of Pioneer Woman's cookbook? IT IS AWESOME! I have tons of cookbooks and this is my very favorite. Not necessarily because of the recipes but the pictures, stories and layout of the book. Recipes are great too!
