I still have yet to try them, and now that I know exactly how to make them, I don't know if I ever will! I've always known about them, but never felt the need to try them. We often roasted our peanuts in the oven. Now I know that I can find a way for them to be flavored too! Now I can save money when going on road trips or homeschool trips by preparing the peanuts at home. I guess if I add something spicy I can make ":hot" peanuts, because we really love those.monicazyounghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497546561943360881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8390396285139687239.post-8339190799686466742017-06-03T21:05:59.396-05:002017-06-03T21:05:59.396-05:00Boiled peanuts are so easy and simpe to prepare bu...Boiled peanuts are so easy and simpe to prepare but these are so delicious. She looked at me like I was dumb, and said, "Well, Steve, you put enough salt in there so that your water tastes like you want your peanuts." For someone as analytical as I am, this concept of cooking empirically was like a curtain pulled back. Cooking didn't have to be just about recipes. It was not a chemistry lab. Cooking was also about direct feedback. Taste, feel, sight and smell. When I smell peanuts on the boil, I remember my Grandmother.sscutchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18225780244410063323noreply@blogger.com
