Chocolate Covered Peppermint Graham Crackers

Graham Crackers dipped in milk chocolate and sprinkled with crushed peppermint sticks. Leave whole or break into pieces for holiday bark.
I can't believe Christmas is just a few days away. Tonight I want to share an easy last minute gift idea with you. Earlier this week I was at the doctors office and I was thumbing through a Ladies Home Journal magazine and came across this recipe for Chocolate Covered Peppermint Grahams.

My first thought was this is something so easy, but it looks like it took hours to make. Defiantly my kind of recipe. Peppermint and chocolate go perfectly together. I don't know why I didn't think of this myself.

Oh well all that matters is that now I know about this yummy little treat. I had everything on hand, so I had to make a batch. They turned out so pretty and taste just as good as they look. I added some mini chocolate chips to a few of the graham crackers because my son doesn't like candy canes. If you need a last minute gift I highly recommend making these. Only three ingredients, so it doesn't get much easier than that.

Such a simple and pretty recipe. I love that is uses items we have on hand. These would look so pretty in a festive tin with tissue paper or holiday treat bags. The plain chocolate ones taste exactly like the Deluxe Grahams.

I've never seen almond bark. It's not in the baking section where the chocolate chips are. Where would I find it? Specialty store?

It is located in the baking isle of most stores. If not check by the holiday baking items.
