August Dinner Menu Is Posted.

Description

Whew where has summer gone? I cant believe the kids are heading back to school in about three weeks. This summer seems like it has flown by. I am really enjoying the time home with the kids, but they are getting bored quickly and are actually looking forward to getting back to school, that's hard to believe. I am looking forward to getting back to a routine and a regular schedule again. Things just seem to get so and unorganized in the summer I need to start getting the kids back on their school schedules in about a week or so, they have really been staying up late and sleeping in. Its nice but if I don't start soon I will never get them up in the morning when school starts. I am a couple days late on posting our August Dinner Menu. Better late than never right! Click on the link below to view the Menu. If you want to read why and how I menu place, just click on the Menu Plan Monthly Icon above to read all about it.

I admire you for meal planning...Does this really save you time? I would like to meal plan but don't know where to get started. If you feel this is really worthwhile, could you give me a few pointers?

I Love The Chicken Spaghetti on here. Only I when I make it, I use Inn Maid's thin egg noodles. My husband is always asking for this in the winter.
Yes, I'm looking forward to being on our front porch and seeing the neighborhood kids walk to the school bus stop. It's fun to think back when my baby was in school.( He's 29 now. )

You are so "with it" planning a whole months menu! I have a hard enough time coming up with a weekly menu because usually by the end of the week what I thought sounded good doesn't. I hope you enjoy the hoe down roast. It's really good. I think you will enjoy it. I'm honored you picked something from my site to cook. It made my day :)

Wow. I think it's awesome that you can plan a whole month at a time! I do a week at a time unless a crazed food bug bites me (like when I first started menu planning about a minute ago). I'm a newbie this week at The Happy Housewife, too. Just dropping by to say hi! Looks great!

This is a great idea. I don't know if it will work for us yet but I may have to try it. Thanks for all the wonderful recipe ideas.
I can't believe summer's coming to an end, too... but your meals look great - great way to savor the end of the summer! I'm definitely going to have to try the Chicken Spaghetti and a few others... You should check out springpad's weekly meal planner, it's a great way to organize all of your menus and recipes (like this one, yum! http://bit.ly/3D6top) and I think you'd really like it.
