Whopper Candy Pie {Revisited}

Are you a big fan of Whoppers!!! you know those wonderful little malted milk chocolate balls. Whoppers are one of my favorite candies especially the gourmet ones. Ummm, I usually make Whopper Candy Pie in the summer, but we were in the mood for a little chocolate.

If you love whoppers you will definitely love this pie. My kids ask for this pie on a regular basis. I really think they like the candies more than the pie because, I always give them the leftover Whoppers that I don't need. I don't blame them who can resist those wonderful little whoppers.

This pie is perfect for summertime or if you just in the mood for creamy chocolate goodness. There is a version of this pie made with ice cream, but I have never had it that way. This one utilizes instant chocolate pudding, milk, cool whip, whoppers and a graham cracker or Nilla wafer crust. You can always substitute the graham cracker crust for a chocolate cookie crust as well. Either way this pie is awesome.

These are the ingredients you will need:
One graham cracker, Nilla wafer or chocolate crust, 1 - 1.4 oz Instant chocolate pudding, milk, cool whip (I do not recommend the extra creamy regular is fine) and whoppers candies.

add dry pudding mix to a medium size bowl.

add milk and prepare the pudding,

make sure to blend well.

I have my handy helper Mackenzie crushing the whoppers for me. After the pudding has chilled remove from the refrigerator and

add the cool whip, blend together.

OK now I have two helpers, hm mm they look like they are just here to lick the pudding mixture off the beaters. (slackers!!)

add the 1 cup crushed whoppers to the pudding mixture and

pour into the crust.

um mm garnish with the remaining 1/2 - 1 cup whole whoppers and chill, I freeze for 2 hours. Then remove from the freezer about 30 minutes before I want to serve the pie.

Pretty and yummy!!!

Whopper Candy Pie

1 - 1.4 oz pkg. instant chocolate pudding
3/4 - 1 cup milk
1 - 8oz container cool whip
1 - Graham Cracker, Vanilla Wafer or chocolate cookie crust.
Whopper's malted milk balls (1 1/2 - 2 cups, separated)

Make the pudding and let it chill for about 30 minutes. Fold in the cool whip. Crush up 1 Cup of Whoppers candy and fold into pie mixture.

Add the pudding mixture to the pie crust. Garnish with the remaining 1/2 -1 cup cup of whole whoppers and chill until ready to serve.

(I freeze for about 2 hours) then remove from the freezer about 30 minutes before I want to serve the pie.

That pie looks so good and light. A must try for Joan!
I made Ofelias banana bread and it was so good. It was lighter than the usual banana bread. I made 4 smaller loave and at a whole one by myself. (Gosh, that looks even worse in print)!!

My husband loves Whoppers - I don't know if I can keep enough of them around the house to make the pie.

Thanks for the books!
