Blog Awards for Mommys Kitchen

These are the Blog Awards my site has been lucky enough to recieve.

My site has only been up just a couple of weeks. I am so excited about my new project. Today I received a email and to my surprise I was awarded the "Yum Yum Blog Award". How cool is that, finally my site has received a bit of recognition. You wonder some time all the hard work you put into something if it will work out or not. In this case my site is really coming along. I was awarded the Yum Yum Blog Award from Noor at Ya Salam Cooking . You should go check out Noor's Site. Noor was one of my first recipe blogging friends and she has alot of good tasty recipes.

Today I was lucky enough to be the recipient of a Brilliant Web Blog Award. This award was presented by, Christy at a Southern Plate. Christy is just as sweet as pie and a true Southern Bell. If you want great Southern Hospitality and the Best Southern Food around then you need to go on over and pay Christy a visit at the Southern Plate . I am sure she will save you a place at the table. Christy don't forget to set a place for me, I’m on my way girl! Start making those Buttermilk Biscuits and Chocolate Gravy. I’ll be there soon. Thanks Christy for this great award. I just received this wonderful BFF Gold Card Award. (Blogging Friends Forever). Thank you Teresa at Mexican American Border Cooking. We definitely blogging buddies I am so glad we found each other in the whole blogging world.

Today I was awarded the "E for Excellence" blog award! It was given to me from wonderful Shawna at Daily Deliciousness . What a nice surprise, I am so happy that Shawna thought of Mommy's Kitchen for this award. Now it's my turn to pass on this award to some blogs well worth reading!

10/18/08 - I have been the recipient of another award. This award is from Nichole at Heart 4 My Home . I found Nichole's site through a Google Search of all places. I was searching for a recipe for Pear Honey using canned pears instead of fresh and her site came up. I was instantly attracted!!! Her site gives you warm fuzzies all over. She is a wonderful blogger and a wonderful online friend so as the award Read's a perfect blend of friendship. You should go check out Nichole's site she has wonderful recipes, beautiful verses , she's a awesome mother and makes her home truly a wonderful place. So Thank you Nichole for thinking of me for this award, it truly means a lot to me.

1/2/08 - I have received another award!!!! Tiffany at Eat at Home, was nice enough to think of Mommy's Kitchen when it came time to dish out some awards. Tiffany is always so friendly and always has nice comments about my site. I cant even remember how i found Eat at home, I think it was from a comment she left for one of my recipe. Well it doesn't matter how i found her site, just that I did!! her recipes are so easy and yummy her site always makes me feel right at home. I cant wait to try out some of her recipes i have on my to make list: Taco Soup, Cranberry Braid Bread, and her Sticky Coconut Chicken. 3/13/09 ~Mommy's Kitchen is the recipient of two more great awards. The first one is the Honest Scrap Award!!! I was given this award from Heidi at Tried and True Cooking with Heidi. I just recently found Heidie's site earlier this week and I cannot stop commenting on all the great recipes she has. Heidi's site reminds me of Mommy's Kitchen in so many ways. As I read through her recipes I can see the resemblance in a lot of our dishes. I am so glad I came across Tried and True Cooking, now I have a lot of new recipes to try out. I really want to try her Pepperoni Pizazz and Heidi's Easy Beef and Broccoli Thanks again Heidi for this awesome award.

3/13/09 ~ My second award is from the lovely Shawna at Daily Deliciousness. This is the second time Daily Deliciousness has thought of Mommy's Kitchen when it came to passing out awards. Shawna's site is so neat. I remember being a Newlywed and learning my way around the kitchen. I do have to say I think Shawna is doing better than i did the first time i was learning to cook. Shawna made Her First Cheesecake it turned out awesome! I cant wait to try out the recipe we love cheesecake. Her recipe for No Knead Bread from NY has peaked my curiosity, so i gotta make that one to. Please pay Daliy Deliciousness a visit you wont be disappointed. Thank you again Shawna for the Lemonade Award.

6/12/09 ~ I recieved another award! Yeah me.. This award is the Kreativ Blogger Award from Kanga at The Mixed up Files of Me.. Kanga is a new reader to Mommy's Kitchen. I love new readers. Kanga just started her blog and is still figuring things out on the direction she is going. Kanga has some beautiful cakes that she decorates pictured at her site, You should really go check it out. Thank you Kanga for passing on this great award to Mommy's Kitchen.

10/13/09 ~ Today I recieved another great award. This award was given to me from Shelia at Recipe Korner. Shelia's site is a new site to me, I cant wait to poke around and find some new recipes. Shelia is also a Gourmet Cupboard Distributor so stop on by her site and check out her recipes and her gourmet mixes. Shelia has a recipe for pear butter and strawberry jam that I cant wait to try. She is also a member of My Girl Paula the same Paula Deen group that I belong to so that is awesome. Thanks Shelia for thinking of Mommys Kitchen.

4/28/10 - Today I was awarded with the "Sunshine Award" from Ma Whats for Dinner?. How exciting. I am so glad Alexandra loves my site. I love her's to, she is am mom just like me getting her kids involved in the kitchen. I think that is so important to teach you children how to cook and have fun all at the same time. Thank you Alexandra for thinking of Mommy's Kitchen when you were passing out the wonderful sunshine award.

5/1/10 - Today I was awarded with the Healthy Meal with Kid Appeal Award for the month of May from Meal Make over Mom's. I am so excited that they loved my recipe. Smoothies are a favoroite in our house as well, so it is no surprise they loved my Blueberry Banana Smoothie!!!
